| In celebration of the Year 1's integration topic for Term 3 'Light and Sound to the Rescue' our students will attend Twisted Science. Twisted Science has a discovery exhibition where students will engage in hands on, high energy, science experiments to test their thinking. They will also attend a 1 hour workshop 'Flash Bang!' where they will observe a science educator demonstrate an investigation of moving waves of light and sound. Our focus is defining different types of light and sound and how we use it to help us in everyday life. Students will be consolidating their learning from the classroom about the impact light and sound in the world around us. Students are to bring a labelled small backpack with their snack, lunch and drink bottle |
