To compliment the Year 2 Term Three Inquiry Based Learning Unit, 'Splish, Splash! What's Under the Sea?', students are invited to participate in an excursion to the Melbourne Aquarium on Monday 6th October.

Students will be participating in a guided tour exploring several different Australian marine habitats, highlighting the diverse ways animals survive in these habitats. Students will also learn about the basic needs of living things and the factors that support life in marine habitats.

Students will be required to be at their classroom at 8:40am so that we can depart Timbarra at 9:00am sharp. We will return to school around 3:00pm and students will be dismissed from their classroom at 3:10pm.

Students will be required to bring 1 disposable bag (plastic bag/paper bag) that is clearly labelled with their name and class, that includes their play lunch, fruit and lunch and water in a disposable drink bottle. Please ensure that students have adequate food as our break times will be different to our usual daily schedule.
