Year 7 Transition

Selecting the appropriate secondary school for your child is a big decision. Your child may currently attend Timbarra P-9 College or your child may currently attend a separate primary school setting. Either way, applications for Year 7 enrolments at Timbarra P-9 College are open and available to all.

At Timbarra P-9 College we generally open our doors and offer a wide range of opportunities that enable you to become familiar with our facilities, programs, pathways and staff and get the opportunity to see some of the great work from our students. Unfortunately, as a result of the restrictions that have been in place throughout 2020, we have been unable to facilitate our regular information evenings and school tours. We were also unable to host our ‘Next Steps’ program for our Timbarra Grade 6 students. However, if you have any questions or require any information about the ‘Year 7 Transition’ process, please contact Aaron Palmer (Year 7 Transition Coordinator) on 9704 2744.

Year 7 Orientation Day:

The state-wide Year 7 Orientation Day was originally scheduled for Tuesday the 8th of December. However, there have been a number of changes in guidelines from the Department of Education & Training. We will communicate our transition session program to the parents of 2021 Year 7 students as soon as possible. You can be assured that we are working towards providing the best transition program possible for your child, while also following the Department of Education & Training's guidelines. We thank you in advance for your patience and flexibility.
