The Timbarra P9 College Sporting Academy offers our students in Years 5 -9 a unique opportunity to participate in a specialised sporting program focused upon strength, conditioning, training and match play. This program teaches students the skills required to be a lifelong athlete.

Woodford Sports Science Consulting
WSSC focus on implementing a high performance program to optimise our student’s peak performance. WSSC provide a professionally structured high performance program aimed at developing body awareness and body control, reducing susceptibility to injury and improving overall sporting performance. The key focus areas are to teach proper running mechanics, jumping mechanics, landing mechanics, muscle activation techniques and educate our students how to look after their bodies to prolong playing careers well into their adulthood.
Basketball Casey Cavaliers
Introducing Casey Cavaliers Raheem Lemons! Raheem had a stellar season in Division One Men playing for Latrobe City, averaging 18.0ppg and 16.0rpg, also being named in the Big V All Star Five.
AFL Angus Scott
Angus is a current player at Casey Scorpions and a member of their leadership group. He has in the past been a state representative and a TAC U16 Captain. Angus is currently coaching at both Timbarra and Hallam Sports Academies where he also mentors students in school, football and social issues.
Netball Inspire Sports Group
Inspire Sports Group provides a professional service to Timbarra P9 College. They aim to INSPIRE Excellence and High Performance in Netball across our College. With over 15 years combined experience in sport at the elite level, the team at Inspire Sports Group have created an extensive junior program at Timbarra P9 College to assist develop our Netball Academy.
Soccer Lou Kastner
Lou has an extremely vast experience as a player and coach.
Lou holds a UEFA B Coaching Qualification and an Australian B License coaching qualification.
Coaching roles have included Melbourne Victory Goalkeeping Coach, Victorian State under 15 and under 16 Team Coach, 2011 Dandenong Thunder U21 Coach, 2009/10 Southern Zone U18 Coach and 2000/05 FFV appointed Coach Educator.
